Our club secretary Karen Nash showed a clean pair of heels to the rest of the ladies to win the 55th Lake District Mountain Trial last Sunday. This event is similar to one day of a mountain marathon with the course only known to you after you start and requiring both fell running and orienteering skills. Karen won her 20km course with ~2000m of climb in 4 hours 8 minutes. Sue Harding also took part and finished 13th. Quentin Harding was 10th on the mens course that covered 28km and had 2700m of climb. Results are
