Club trophy winners
After the handicap formalities were out of the way there followed an al fresco trophy presentation for the various club championships. The first trophy awarded was the newly created Dick Collins Trophy, named in honour of our sadly missed friend and stalwart of the club. This will be awarded to the person considered to have done the most on behalf of the club in the previous year, and for 2021 the well-deserved recipient is Martyn Roome. Other trophies:
Club Handicap, Lord's Lot Wood
A broad spectrum of orienteering experience was brought to bear on the fiendishly complicated collection of courses devised by Peter Moseley in the long awaited return to Lord's Lot. After a group of "non-competitive" runners the first official handicapped runner home was Ben Todhunter. Congratulations to him! Results and RouteGadget are available.

A cracking good start to the year!
Over one hundred orienteers, ranging from first-timers to ex national champions, battled it out around the Lancsaster University campus today, in weather that felt more like April. We apologise for the lack of live results on the day but the gremlins were well and truly at work on our IT equipment. Results are on-line here, and RouteGadget for the event is here.
