SROC at Croeso 2024, the Welsh 6 Days

 Over 30 SROC members attended the Welsh 6 Days in the Brecon Beacons last week - and what a fantastic week it was!

The final results are based on best 4 results.

Class wins for John Embrey M65L, Maisie Todhunter W12A, Heather Roome W40L

Second places for David Roome M40L, Juliet Bentley W55S

Summer Series completed

Event five of the SROC Summer Series was held in sunshine in Carnforth today. The area was new to orienteering and Graham Capper not only drew the map but planned the courses too. All in all a great finish to the series! Results are here, and check out the final series scores here. Congatulations to Fraser Dixon, overall winner, and Cate Matthew first female. Also to all the other class winners, of whom John Embrey was not only Ultravet Men winner but also 2nd overall!

There is still time to get your entry in for the final event in the current series. This will be at Carnforth High School, and surrounding urban area, this Thursday 4th July.
