Garstang Night Street League event
The next event in the street league is at Garstang tomorrow, Wednesday 15th November.
If approaching Garstang from the south via the A6, please be aware that there are numerous set of temporary traffic lights which can create long delays. If possible, allow plenty of time for your journey but we will make allowances for late starters.
Thank
you to those people who have already booked their meal in advance, The deadline
for ordering food has now passed and any competitors still wishing to eat after
their run may be able to book a meal at registration when they arrive - but as
the pub kitchen closes at 8pm there will only be a limited number of
portions available and these will be allocated on a first come, first served
basis. Sian Calow & Kev Latham

SROC Night Street Series
Wednesday night saw the start of the 2023/24 winter series in rather blustery conditions. Fortunately whilst it was very windy on the open areas near to the beach I am assured that in the streets it was calmer. The results for the event can be found here, and RouteGadget here. if you have any queries about your score then please get in touch with me. This event is also for the Tower Trophy, it can only be won once and competitors' points are adjusted in terms of age and gender by using the special multiplier. As a result of that the provisional winner of this series' Tower Trophy is Vladislav Zavjalov, so many congratulations to him.
A big thank you to all those whose took part and a reminder that the next event on 1st November in Ashton is for the Guild Trophy - details are on the website.Bob Nash
