Wellington Wood Summer Sprint series event
This evening's event in Wellington Wood, near Dolphinholme, saw the wood in perfect condition for orienteering. Julian Lailey had set challenging courses where lapses of concentration were paid for in seconds lost, resluting in places lost too. Results may be viewed here. (For the Score course results, click on Prologue). RouteGadget is available, either for Prologue & Score or Final.

Sizergh Spring Series event
The Sizergh event went ahead in pleasant sunny conditions today. A good mix of beginners and experienced orienteers enjoyed their courses. Unfortunately the event was marred by one unidentified competitor who decided to take a short cut over a wall (marked with a purple line as uncrossable) near the start. We hope this thoughtless action has not prevented us from being able to use this area in the future. Please, always take note of markings depicting out of bounds areas and uncrossable features. Results are posted here, and RouteGadget is here. Lost property: a blue hooded top, size medium, left in the download tent.
