Your new(ish) committee elected at the AGM

Today's annual general meeting, held in a new venue in the Physics building at Lancaster University, passed very smoothly. Officers elected included Peter Knott as President, replacing Sue Denmark who stood down. Martyn Roome relinquished his position of Chairman after three years (and many more years on the committee) but takes over from Dick Collins as Vice Chair. The new Chairman is Julian Lailey. Continuing in post are Dick Collins (retaining two jobs as Treasurer and Newsletter Editor) and Karen Nash (Secretary). Of the other eight committee members two stood down and were replaced by new nominations Mark Edwards and Mike Ormerod, who returns to the committee after "resting" for a year or two.
