SROC members run well for their schools
The British Schools Orienteering Championships were held at Druridge Bay in the North East on Sunday 22nd November. SROC was represented by pupils from Lancaster Girls Grammar and Lancaster Royal Grammar Schools, and they brought home several medals. LGGS achieved 2nd year 7 girls (helped by a member of LOC!), 4th year 8 girls and 1st year 12 girls. Leading individual results include Zoe Harding 1st yr 10, Katrin Harding 2nd yr 12, Jenny Tynan 7th yr 12 and John Ockenden 6th yr 11. Congratulations to them and all those who took part.
