SROCkite.gif (2521 bytes) Lancaster and District Schools Orienteering Challenge

There was great competition for top spot yesterday at Happy Mount Park. In the end the winner of the Primary Schools Trophy was St. Luke's Church of England Primary School, Slyne-with-Hest, with Bowerham Community Primary School a close second.
In the Secondary School section Lancaster Royal Grammar School won, with Ripley St Thomas Church of England Academy second.
Many congratulations to the winners but also to all those who took part, many of you running two or more courses.
There are plenty of events coming up for those thirsting for more orienteering. For a start, look at our Fixtures tab on this page. The next very local event is at Williamson Park on Tuesday 23rd May. Look also at the British Orienteering event diary page for the North West where you will find both weekend and evening events.
We are also putting on a coaching morning on Beacon Fell Nr Goosnargh on Saturday 29th April, 10.30 to 13.00. If you would like to find out about this please contact me Development@sroc.org right away. I will need final numbers by Tuesday 25th April.
