SROC vets excel at the British Mixed Sprint Relay Champs

The British Mixed Sprint relays were held to day, hosted by DEE at the Edge Hill University campus near Ormskirk. The super vet team of Mike Johnson, Jane Anthony and Quentin Harding won gold medals, while the second super vet team of Sue Harding, Jon Carberry and Chris Roberts picked up the bronze. The Ultra vet team of Miriam Rosen, Paul Ferguson and Julian Lailey collected silver medals.

Street League 2017-18

Unfortunately for family reasons Albert Sunter is not able to commit to doing the Street League event on Wednesday 20th December 2017. Can someone volunteer to take it on please? Bob Nash.

Summer Sprint Series final table and league winners

Thanks to those who travelled west to Blackpool to take part in the fifth and final event of the Summer Sprint series. The wet weather of the earlier part of the day cleared leaving us with a warm, humid but dry evening. The low number of entrants meant that high points scores were available to the competitors and many league places changed, most notably M(Open) and MV55+ league leaders. 

League Series winners : M(Open) Finlay Johnson, W(Open) Jane Anthony, VM55+ Paul Turner, VW55+ Miriam Rosen, JW14- Cate Matthew, JM14- not awarded.

Total number of series competitors : 82. Thanks to all who took part and a big thank you to Luigi Lerose / Jane Anthony, Mike Johnson, Chris Roberts and Julian Lailey for organising / planning the series events and to their on-the-day helpers.
