Hill walking and navigation challenge
The Bowland Challenge is a team competition based on hill walking and navigation held entirely within the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Whether training for a Mountain marathon or just out for a good days walk, the Bowland Challenge is ideal for you. This event is to help support the Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team, and is in essence a 10 hour score for teams of 2-6 people, taking place 15th -17th July 2011.
