With the first Summer Series event almost upon us (Tuesday 25th May at Wellington Wood) we now have news of the scoring system for the series.
Scoring - SROC Summer Series 2010
Classes
1. Open M
2. Open W
3. M60 and above
4. W60 and above
5. M14 and below
6. W14 and below
7. Novice M
8. Novice W
Run any course you want, score as follows
Wellington Wood
1 course – 1st place gets 50 points, 2nd 49 etc
Williamson Park –
Long course - 1st place gets 50 points, 2nd 49 etc
Short Course - 1st place gets 30 points, 2nd 29 etc
Salt Ayre
Results based on heat and final - 1st place gets 50 points, 2nd 49 etc
If only one course done – scoring based on 1st place getting 30 points, 2nd 29 etc
Lanc Uni
1 course – 1st place gets 50 points, 2nd 49 etc
Beacon Fell
Light Green – 1st place gets 50 points, 2nd 49 etc
Orange – 1st place gets 30 points, 2nd 29 etc
Yellow - 1st place gets 20 points, 2nd 19 etc
White - 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd 9 etc
The planner/organiser of each event gets 40 points for that event.
