Happy Mount Park

The sun shone and the newcomers came to enjoy some real orienteering in the lovely Happy Mount Park in Morecambe today. The encampment of Normas had little effect on proceedings, but the one control site which clashed with an archery range did come a cropper as a result. Results are on-line here. Its ideal for families with children - go round as a group or split into teams!
The Score course (find as many controls as you can) is ideal for the less experienced. Map and electronic timing chip provided - all for just £6 per entry. An entry can be one person or a small group.

Stanley Park results

Evening sunshine after a showery day was most welcome for the select few who ventured to Blackpool today for the third in the current Summer Series of sprint events. The results, including series scores to date, have been published. Anyone who missed this event missed two great courses.
