SROC captain Miriam Rosen has been crowned British Night Champion in W70! Congratulations to her and all other SROC competitors in this event. We look forward to a strong SROC turnout in the CompassSport Trophy heat on 15th March.  Anyone wishing to run who hasn’t already done so should contact Miriam as soo as possible.

Competitors enjoyed near perfect conditions for the latest Night Street League race last night, run on the Lancaster South map. RouteGadget is ready for your routes, and the results will be published as soon as they have been processed. Lost property: a SROC top and thermal vest were left behind. These will be brought to the next event.

SROCkite.gif (2521 bytes) Spring in the Lakes weekend

On-line entries for the joint weekend with LOC are now open on SiEntries. Saturday 25th April we will be hosting a National Middle Distance event in Blakeholme, while on Sunday 26th April LOC are holding a Regional Event on Loughrigg. SROC helpers will be entitled to half price entry to our event, plus they get the warm glow associated with making the event happen. Volunteers please contact Tony Marlow, the Organiser.

SROCkite.gif (2521 bytes) Club Handicap in Wellington Wood

A wild and windy day in Wellington Wood, but a great set of courses and some cunning handicapping made for an excellent event to determine the 2020 club handicap champion. Ellie Todhunter was the well-deserved winner. Results, including handicap placings, are here. You can add your route to RouteGadget. Afterwards club members and guests adjourned to Dolphinholme Village Hall to eat and applaud as trophies were awarded for 2019 performance.
