Yarrow Valley Spring Series event 2, Saturday 7th March

The Spring Series lived up to its name with balmy conditions on the warmest day of the year so far at Yarrow Valley Country Park, Chorley. Results for the event are here and RouteGadget is here.

Street League Tables

The latest tables can be viewed here. Please check them carefully and let me know asap of any errors. The final counting event of the series is at Bolton West and after that the table and certificates will be finalised.
The final event is the mass start score event (it doesn't count for the series) which this year is based at the Anderton Arms, Fulwood, Preston. Details can be viewed via the SROC fixtures page. As this is a mass start event you will need a dibber. If you would like to borrow a club dibber than let me know, either at the Bolton event or by email. - Bob

British Night Championships

SROC success at the British Night Orienteering Championships held in Leeds yesterday: Quentin Harding M50 champion and third places for Heather Gardner (W21), Sue Harding (W50) and Miriam Rosen (W65). Results are on the AIRE website.

Longridge Results

The Results from the Longridge event are here. Many thanks to all those who turned out on a wet but relatively warm night. The rain certainly made it interesting for those with glasses. Can I point out that I have had to change the venue for the Prize Giving event to Fulwood. It is now based at the Anderton Arms - more details will be on the web and available at the Bolton event. Longridge Street League event Wednesday 25th February

A little light rain did not detract from the entertainment for runners at the latest night street O at Longridge, ninth in the series of ten events. RouteGadget is now available for this event, and results will follow later. Next event is at Bolton in two weeks, followed by the series finale and prizegiving at Fulwood the week after.

Quentin wins in Portugal

Quentin Harding received his trophy from winning the Portugal O meet (M50) during the Longridge Street O this evening. Karen Quickfall made the presentation.
