 Just a heads up about this event which is being organised by Steve Wilson who is a PFO member. The event is both a PFO and an SROC event. It will be pre entry via SI entries and it would be appreciated if as many people as possible do take the option to pre enter. Entry on the day is also available as usual but the fee will be £5 for members and £6 for non members just as a one off for this event.

Heysham night street league

The rescheduled Heysham event took place last evening, in much better weather conditions. Results are available here, and here is RouteGadget for the event.

Event Cancellations

Due to icy conditions, both LOC Tarn Hows night event on Saturday 11 January and Helm Hill Runners Giggleswick race on Sunday 12 January have been cancelled.

Tarn Hows NW night league event has now been rescheduled for Saturday 25 January.

Heysham Street O rescheduled

 Following the decision to postpone tonight's event we have decided to reschedule to next Tuesday January 14. This is to avoid a clash with the LOC event in Kendal on the Wednesday. All other details remain the same.

Heysham Street O postponed

A late inspection of Heysham's streets has revealed treacherous icy conditions on a large part of the area, making it advisable to postpone the event. This was all because of an overnight fall of snow and or hail, which is unlikely to melt in time for the event today.

 Just to let people know that there will be an inspection of the local pavements in Heysham tomorrow morning and a decision will be made then regarding the safety of continuing with the event as planned or postponing it to the following week.

New year Cracker results

 Reminder that entries for the New Year Cracker close Tuesday 31st December 2024 at 21:00.

Shoes with some grip are recommended as the grassed areas & artificial pitches are very slippery. No metal spikes allowed though.

Control descriptions are on the map for the short course but not for the long. Loose descriptions are available for the long course but the paper size is very long.

Wind & rain expected so please come prepared.
