It was good to be back on an old favourite area, starting from a different venue than before. The weather was chilly but stayed fine which helped, along with excellent planning. Tim Watkins Trophy Sunday 26th November
This prestigious event took place today on a combined map of Caw and Torver High Common, with excellent courses planned by guest planner Scott Collier of KERNO and Black Combe Runners. The Open classes were won by Joe Woodley and Cat Taylor, with the Vets classes trophies going to Andy Simpson and Jo Cleary. Full results are here, and RouteGadget here.
Street O Runs on a different night
It has been brought to my attention that not everyone is aware that the rules of our street league series do allow for people to run an individual event on a different night to the scheduled one. The rule is that you need to notify the organiser in advance to let them know when you wish to run the event, and that this must be sometime before the next event. Also when you do run, you are not allowed to score higher than the winner on the night.
