Could this be the perfect way to start the New Year? Many orienteers seem to think so as this event has gained popularity almost every year since its inception. The NYC returns to Low Park Wood in 2012 after three years away, with a 50 minute mass start odds and evens score to blow away those New Year cobwebs! Beginners can enjoy a conventional score course instead. Either way you are sure to enjoy the challenge of this mixed wood. The illustrated industrial remains may or may not be a control site; most of the area is lovely runnable woodland.
