SROCkite.gif (2521 bytes) Headtorch runs

The first of the SROC Headtorch Runs will be on Wednesday 12th November from Jane Anthony’s house – please phone her on 01772 865876 for directions. Meet 6.50 for a prompt 7.00pm start. There will be some room on the drive, otherwise please park considerately.

Letting Us know: If you are intending to come (and we expect you all are!) then it would be helpful if you would email or phone, just so we can hang on if you are a couple of minutes late. Not essential though if you are indecisive!

Route: Mainly easy underfoot, some tarmac and mostly well lit, but there are a couple of stretches which are a bit rougher (and possibly muddy dependent on recent weather) and unlit.

Duration: 1 hour, there are longer options for those who want to run faster / further, but the main body will go at a sociable pace and we WILL keep together – no one will be left!

Equipment needed: A torch! Headtorch preferable of course but not essential on this run. Clothes suitable for the weather, with some reflective bits at least, so we can all see each other.

Apres: Please bring some food for a Jacob’s Join and natter back at Jane’s house. Bring the map from your last event!

Bad Weather: If the forecast is for steady rain or other bad weather the run will be cancelled. You can check on the website or facebook page - no announcement means its on!

The next Headtorch Run will be on Wednesday 26th November, on NIcky Nook.
