‘Special’ 1 hour event to test the brain cells in the New YearArea is a mixture of farmland and woodland with reasonable path network.

There is a course (also 60 minutes) that is very suitable for Newcomers to the sport and full help and instruction will be provided –just ask for Martyn or Sue when you get to the event Registration point. Arrive in plenty of time to avail yourself of the help!

Sizergh Castle, near Kendal, Cumbria, LA8 8DZ

There will be no o-signs on the road, please follow brown National Trust (NT) signs from A590 to main NT car park. From the M6, exit at junction 36, then take A590 towards Kendal, take Barrow-in-Furness turning and follow brown signs. Parking: 250 yards from the main entrance. Sat-Nav: enter LA8 8DZ

NT car parking charges apply - pay and display car park.

Members park free (please scan your membership card for your free parking ticket)

Non-members: £2 up to 1 hour; £4 up to 2 hours; £6 up to 4 hours; £8 all day

NT toilets and café will be open

Registration (NT car park): 12:00 to 12:30

We will be leaving the car park to walk to the start at 12:40

Mass start at: 13:00

Entry fee: £6 seniors/families / £3 juniors
