North West Night League event, Sizergh

Results for last night's event are now posted here, and RouteGadget is here. Please read the comments from the planner, Alex Finch: "Thanks to everyone for turning out on such a wild night. Believe it or not last time I planned a night event the conditions were even worse! I just want to apologise for misplacing control 112. I hope it didn't detract too much from your run. The results have been adjusted to remove the effects of this control. I'd also like to thank Mike for organising very efficiently, and to Quentin, Julian and Tom for help on the night."

Autumn Series League Scores

After the wet but well attended Lancaster University event on Saturday 14th November the final standings in the League have been calculated. It was great to see so many new to the sport taking part and we look forward to you becoming regulars.

Street League 3, Longton

An excellent new map and the novelty of starting from an Italian restaurant made the trip to Longton this evening worthwhile despite the horrendous weather forecast. In the end most got round dry and the winds were not as strong as feared so the decision to go ahead with the event was fully justified. RouteGadget is ready for your routes.

After a well attended training session and innovative micro-O course it was good to stretch our legs around the parkland and woodland areas of the campus. The tricky free order section on the Technical course caught out a couple of experienced runners.
