JK festival of orienteering

The weather may have tried to dampen the spirits but for those SROC members who made the short journey to Yorkshire this was a true weekend of top class orienteering competition. The Day 1 Sprint saw victory in M50 for Quentin Harding and 2nd in W60 for Jane Anthony.

Spring Series 2, Duxbury Park

Nice weather and a good challenge today in Duxbury Park, Chorley, for the seconf Spring Series event. Results may be viewed here, and RouteGadget for this event is here.

Cottam scores and league winners

So the 15/16 Winter Series has come to an end with a pleasant night for running at Cottam.

Street League Finale, Cottam

A good turnout enjoyed the novelty of a mass start event in perfect conditions before the prize giving for the Night Street League series in Cottam last night. The event is now available on RouteGadget.

Night Street League, Horwich scores

The results for the Horwich event last Wednesday have been published here. League scores may be viewed here. Prizegiving for the series will take place after the finale mass start event from The Ancient Oak in Cottam this Wednesday.

Last Call for British Relay Entries

The British Relay take place on Sunday 1st May on Brown Clee. Details of the event can be found HERE.
All club members are encouraged to take part but entries must be made through the club captain. The club will subsidise the entries such that you pay £10 for adults and juniors pay £3.
If you have not already done so please e-mail the Club Captain the following information by Tuesday 22nd March:
1) Name
2) Your 2016 age group
3) Your BOF number
4) The SI number you intend to use

Street League event 10, Horwich

With apologies for the delay, RouteGadget is now ready for Wednesday's night street event at Horwich. That was the last in the current season but there is still the finale mass start event and prizegiving next Wednesday at the Ancient Oak, Cottam.

CompassSport Trophy Event Postponed

Claro have just announced that their CST event has been postponed due to the car parking field being unusable following the recent wet weather. They hope to reschedule the event as soon as possible, probably to a date in May. When that date has been defined I will contact all concerned to see whether they still wish to take part. Quentin
